Metal Laser Cutting Services in Hyderabad
iMake offers high-precision metal laser cutting services from our new 7000 sq ft facility at Hardware Park Phase 2, Hyderabad. Our 1.5 kW fibre laser cutter handles mild steel, stainless steel and aluminium on a large 10 ft × 5 ft (3050 × 1525 mm) cutting bed — one of the largest available from an MSME manufacturer in Hyderabad. As a DRDO registered vendor and GeM listed supplier, we serve defence, aerospace, automotive and industrial clients with fast turnaround and complete quality documentation.
Our Custom Metal Laser Cutting Solutions
We offer metal laser cutting for prototypes, low-volume production runs and full production batches. Our engineering team reviews every DXF or DWG file for Design for Manufacturability (DFM) before cutting — identifying potential issues with thin features, hole-to-edge distances and nesting to minimise material waste and ensure first-time accuracy. We work directly from your CAD file, with no manual re-drawing and no hidden set-up costs.
Materials We Cut
We cut mild steel (MS) up to 10mm, stainless steel (SS 304 and SS 316) up to 8mm, aluminium (6061, 5052, 5754) up to 6mm, acrylic (PMMA), MDF, and polycarbonate. All metal cutting is performed on our 1.5 kW fibre laser — delivering clean, oxide-free edges suitable for welding, powder coating and anodising.
No Minimum Order Quantity
Our minimum order quantity is 1 piece, making metal laser cutting accessible for R&D teams, startups, defence labs and production engineers alike. Whether you need a single prototype bracket or a batch of 500 identical enclosure panels, we apply the same quality standards and DFM rigour to every order.
Fast Turnaround — 2 to 5 Working Days
Standard turnaround for metal laser cutting is 2–5 working days from drawing approval. Rush orders can be accommodated in 24–48 hours depending on machine availability — WhatsApp us at +91-9494269431 to check the current slot. Hyderabad clients can collect directly from our Hardware Park Phase 2 facility for same-day collection on completed orders.

Frequently Asked Questions
-
What metals can you laser cut, and up to what thickness?
We cut mild steel (MS) up to 10mm, stainless steel (SS 304 and SS 316) up to 8mm, and aluminium (6061, 5052, 5754) up to 6mm. We also cut acrylic, MDF, polycarbonate and other non-metals. All cutting is on our 1.5 kW fibre laser with a 10×5 ft bed at our Hardware Park Phase 2 facility in Hyderabad.
-
Are you a DRDO registered and GeM listed laser cutting vendor?
Yes. iMake is a DRDO registered vendor and is listed on the GeM portal under metal laser cutting and sheet metal fabrication categories. Government departments, defence PSUs and DRDO labs can place orders directly through GeM. We provide GST invoices, material certificates, and quality documentation as required by defence procurement procedures.
-
What is the minimum order quantity and turnaround time?
Minimum order quantity is 1 piece — suitable for prototyping, R&D and small batch requirements. Standard turnaround is 2–5 working days. Rush orders in 24–48 hours are possible depending on machine availability — WhatsApp +91-9494269431 to confirm. Hyderabad clients can collect directly from our Hardware Park Phase 2 facility.
-
What file formats do you accept for laser cutting?
We prefer DXF or DWG files for laser cutting as these give the most accurate results. We also accept STEP, STP, IGES, PDF drawings and SLDPRT. If you only have a 2D sketch or a PDF, our CAD team can convert it to a DXF — ask us about our DXF conversion service. Always specify material, thickness and quantity when sending files.
-
What post-processing services do you offer after laser cutting?
All metal laser cut parts are deburred as standard. We also offer powder coating, anodising (for aluminium), laser engraving, and press brake bending through our partner network. We can supply complete sheet metal assemblies — cut, bent, finished and ready to install — as a single purchase order.
-
What are the accepted payment methods?
We accept NEFT / RTGS bank transfer, UPI, and cheque. For government and defence clients, purchase order (PO) based invoicing with net-30 payment terms is available. For first-time clients, 50% advance is standard. GST invoices are provided for all orders. GeM portal payments are also accepted.
